MUSIC LESSONS
It takes courage to step forward and explore your voice in a deeper way. Many people come to me because they feel a longing to inhabit their singing voice more fully, to reconnect with a part of themselves they’ve been unsure of. In our culture, we often hear the myth that only some people can sing, but I believe its a simple birth right. We are born with our voices, and in a healthy world, we would use them freely throughout our lives. Rediscovering your voice can be a transformative journey.
I won’t teach you to sing in one specific way. Instead, I’ll guide you through an exploration of the anatomy and mechanics of your own voice, helping you understand the creative control you have within it. Singing isn’t a mystery—it’s an instrument made of elements you can learn to understand and master. In our sessions, I hold space for you to not only find your voice but to be fully seen and heard, allowing you to explore your sound with confidence and openness.
If you’d like to learn or develop your guitar playing, we can combine singing with guitar.
I teach from my yurt, which is up narrow stairs and unfortunately not an accessible space. If that’s a concern, let me know, and we’ll try to find an alternative.
